Welcome to Sensory Play (“Sensory Play”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Use apply to playmessy.com. Please read them, and our Disclaimer, before you try anything described here with a child.

1. Material on This Site

Our mixture recipes, setup photographs, written guides, and site design are the property of Sensory Play or our licensors. A recipe idea cannot be owned, but our particular wording and images can be — please link rather than repost, and ask before reproducing a guide in a newsletter, training pack, or nursery handbook.

2. Using This Site

Sensory Play documents messy-play setups, taste-safe mixture recipes, tuff-tray ideas, and notes on sensory exploration for children from birth to about four. The material is descriptive and offered for personal use by parents, caregivers, and early-years practitioners. Systematic copying, commercial republication, and automated data collection are not permitted.

3. Revenue Links

The site carries advertising, and some links earn commission when used. This has no bearing on which materials or products we describe. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Advertising Disclosure.

4. Community Guidelines

You retain the rights to comments and images you submit, and you grant us a licence to display and moderate them. Do not post identifiable photographs of children who are not yours, and do not use the comments to sell products or courses. Anything unsafe, abusive, or commercial will be taken down, and we may disable comments on any post.

5. Exclusion of Warranties

Everything is presented “as is”. Sensory play carries genuine hazards — drowning at shallow depths, choking, aspiration, allergic reaction, and skin irritation among them — and “taste-safe” never means edible. Nothing here is therapeutic, occupational-therapy, or medical guidance. Read the Disclaimer in full; it is not optional background.

6. What We Are Not Liable For

So far as the law permits, Sensory Play excludes liability for harm, illness, allergic reaction, or damage arising from any activity, ingredient, or product mentioned on this site. The adult who sets up and supervises the play accepts that responsibility.

7. Changes Over Time

We update these Terms when the site changes. The current date appears above, and continued use after an update indicates your agreement to it.

8. Third-Party Links

Links to suppliers, manufacturers, and other early-years sites are offered for convenience only. We cannot vouch for the safety, age-rating accuracy, or business practices of anyone we link to.
