Who Receives Data

Advertising and analytics vendors generally act as independent controllers; the rest act as processors on our instruction.

What We Collect

Anything you type in yourself, such as an email address for the newsletter or a name against a comment, is collected only because you chose to provide it. Given what we write about, this is worth being explicit about: the audience here is the supervising adult, never the child, and we remove any submitted photograph or comment that would make a specific child identifiable.

We hold data only as long as the purpose requires. Subscriber records end at unsubscribe; comments end at deletion; analytics follow the retention window of whichever provider is in use. Safeguards include access control and transport encryption. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and we do not claim to.
